        LAKE WYANGAN TURF SUPPLIES is a family owned business farming in the RIVERINA region of Lake Wyangan in GRIFFITH  N.S.W. The property was purchased in 1996, the property then consisted of a mix of wine grapes and citrus. Being a small area farm we felt the need to diversify into something different and unique which would benefit the town of Griffith and surrounding districts.  Robert spent 2 years researching Turf production, visiting farms from the East coast to as far as the West coast studying how different types of Turf perform in different climates at different times of the year. In 1998 it was decided Kikuyu from the West coast was best suited to our climate and the first sprigs were planted, this commenced the production of the first 2 acres of Turf, from there business grew with the progressive removal of old vines and citrus each year to the point where our primary production is now Turf. Lake Wyangan Turf Supplies has cemented its reputation on providing its customers with a quality weed free Turf. It's this commitment to quality that has seen our Turf become home to new residential and commercial premises, sporting ovals, parks and council requirements from as far as Melbourne across to Adelaide and as far north as Sydney. The obvious advantage to this is they can be laid in half the time of slabs, this means less joins for a more level finish. When we deliver your load of fresh turf we bring our own forklift and place the turf exactly where you want it.
